For the past 30 years, D.R.I. have quite rightly built themselves a legacy as the epitome of the original aggressive, hardcore-punk thrash sound that has since been copied many times the world over. And now, for the first time ever, the original pioneers of crossover thrash make their long awaited debut to New Zealand shores.
Featuring original members Kurt Brech (vocals) and Spike Cassidy (Guitar), D.R.I are still actively touring, recording and thrashing just as hard and as loud as ever. They might be a little older now, but time hasnt gotten the best of the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles as they continue to overload our senses with the sound that is, and will always remain, uniquely D.R.I.
