Band Matiu Te Huki is the creative force behind My Golden Soul and has performed as a musician for over 15 years. He has worked with Fat Freddies Drop, recorded with Tiki Taane and Anika Moa and was the founder, songwriter and lead singer of Aotearoa Roots band Homefire Burning.
Matiu is also part of funk, soul, hiphop, dub collaboration Basscamp along with Confucius, MCs KP (Sunshine Sound System, Shapeshifter) Switch (Sunshine Sound System) and DJ Sticky Fingaz.
