Into Orbit is a Wellington based duo of guitar and drums, whose immersive, genre-defying sound contains aspects of post rock, polished prog, ambient drones and technical wizardry.
In August 2014, they released their full-length debut album Caverns to immediate critical acclaim, receiving high praise from reviewers including Simon Sweetman, (offthetracks.co.nz & stuff.co.nz) and Ricardo Kerr (undertheradar.co.nz) who gave it a 9/10
As part of their North Island tour, Into Orbit will perform one show at The Wine Cellar in Auckland, with the support of local acts Undiscovered Moons Of Saturn and Shepherds Of Cassini.
