Legendary singer-songwriter Rodriguez will tour New Zealand this October prior to his Australian tour; playing shows in both Auckland (Monday 13 October) and Wellington (Wednesday 15 October). Holly Arrowsmith will open for Rodriguez for both shows. Holly Arrowsmith has been turning heads all over New Zealand as of late. Blending cultural and environmental influences, Arrowsmith’s poetic lyrics are combined with a haunting voice, reminiscent of Laura Marling. This combination should be no surprise given her birth in the desert city of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and childhood in the mountain valleys of Queenstown. A folk star on the rise at a tender 20 years old, Holly has already performed at The New Zealand Country Music Awards, Rhythm And Alps, and is to appear at Rhythm and Vines this coming New Year.
