Join us for another stunning night of music featuring the soft sounds, layering vocals, and from-the-street-stories of California folk artist Mimi Gilbert, following by a incredible special guest, Holly Arrowsmith, who is just in town for a few days on tour from Queenstown. We thought we would put together a little hole-in-the-wall gig at Cuba Street's In Good Company Space.

Born in the desert city of Santa Fe, New Mexico and raised in the mountain valleys of Queenstown, New Zealand, there is a unique sound stirring from Holly Arrowsmith. Acoustically driven new wave folk that strips everything but the honesty away, and what your left with will leave you trembling.
Mimi Gilbert ---------
Mimi found the courage to sing publicly when she discovered busking on her hometown streets of Ventura, California. Moving to and from many cities (with Wellington being an absolute favourite), she happily makes music around the world. Creating layer upon layer of a raw, prevailing sound that simply burst with life, journey and experience, Mimi feels most herself when behind any instrument at all, sharing the understanding that comes from music.
It will a perfect night. Holly will be supported on base/guitar by her wonderful husband Mike Gilling. And Mimi will be playing with band.
