In a short couple of years Hiatus Kaiyote have risen from the bohemian shadows of Melbourne to the world’s biggest stages. Nominated for a 2012 Grammy award for their song “Nakamarra” and with a brand-new record Choose Your Weapon the band are bringing their future sound to New Zealand for the first time
Fresh off the back of a performance on US late night show Jimmy Kimmel and with a clutch of 5 star reviews for their new album, Hiatus Kaiyote have been described by The Guardian as a band ”that casually bewitch their fans” and possessing the ability to transport fans to a “psychedelic, mesmerising adventure land”
