TWEED
Tweed is an Auckland-based alternative folk band. Since forming in 2012, the band have honed a distinctive style of catchy melodies, poly-rhythms, and tight-knit, complex vocal harmonies.Tweed has a harmony-rich vintage sound reminiscent of the Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Joni Mitchell, and cites the Punch Brothers, Joan Armatrading, and Ani diFranco as main influences. The band will be releasing their first full-length album, High-Brow Blues this year.

EMBERGLOW
Emberglow is a new pop-rock band, conceived in the now but harking back to the glory days of the 70s and the 90s. Vibes of the Singer-Songwriter era collide with the FM alt-rock sound of yesteryear. Plaintive folk poetry rubs shoulders with lush vocal harmonies as minimal guitar fingerpicking yields to expansive arrangements. Piano balladry coexists with upbeat rock anthems while guitar solos sit alongside singalong choruses. Soulful melodies tug at your heartstrings while psychedelic twists wait in the shadows to buzz your brain. Emberglow is all of the above and more; a band informed by the past yet never needed more than at the present moment.

THE DARK THIRD
The Dark Third refers to the dreamstate - the eight hours per day that humans spend in a state of dark dormancy and mental consideration. The Dark Third's music comes from these depth's - songs of dreams, ambitions and hopes, told through the complex sounds of modern progressive rock with brushes of the abstract and dreamy sounds of post-rock, shoegaze, ambient and balck metal. Showcasing the contrast of sleep and wake with sections of quiet melody next to intense and emotional heavy sections, The Dark Third represent this dreamstate in both music and theme.
