Its a new year and those ol MOSES cats have been flat out over the festive season roasting, basting and marinading up their second album. Following its mid February release they will be bringing their hypnotic blend of psychedelia to Wellington on February 17th!
Recorded largely in a farm cottage in rural New Zealand, MOSES' sophomore effort expands on the ethereal world created in their 2016 debut. Largely inspired by the music of George Harrison and The Jesus and Mary Chain, it follows an arc of trying to come to terms with an age of comfort, yet simmering discontent. The isolated environment in which it was created feeds and provides context to these lyrical and musical themes, as ambient sound drifts in and out of each track.
Slink on down and soak up the psychedelic vibes!
