After passing out in a field a Glastonbury 2009, Gareth woke to a confused blend of hip hop and jazz. On one stage was probably Roots Manuva and possibly Mark de Clive-Lowe on another.
While he couldn’t quite figure out exactly what he was hearing and where it was coming from this blend of jazz, hip hop and house music sent Gareth through a musical kaleidoscope. Led by visionary Gareth Thompson Darling, this three piece with live horns, keys and samples will play compositions and covers.
Wellington Jazz Festival is on from June 7-11.
