It's deep and shallow and twisted and bright. Great for a dance or a date or rowdy night celebrating the original. The best free(k) show in town!

The Gong is used with a generous spirit!
It's a Gong show. Anyone can be gonged - even the host! The aim is to make an entertaining show where everyone gets a chance to shine. We're going to do our best to make that happen.
Typically there are five reasons you may be gonged:
- Unoriginal content will be instantly gonged with no reward from the bar.
- Time pressure: There are lots of performers and we have limited time.
- Your performance has finished.
- If the crowd deems you're being a douche.
- If you performed the same work at the previous Gong you may be gonged - new material is always preferred!
The time limit is flexible depending on the genre, quantity and quality of the performances. Our advice - Leave the audience wanting more!
We will provide a mixer, PA and two mics. We've got a simple drum kit, bass and guitar amps. We can minijack your digital scenario into the mixer. Rock up with anything else you may need.
If you're a musician or have a band, then turn up with the bare necessities and do one, two or a few. We can even do a sound check if you show up around 7pm.
If you want to do any kind of performance at all just turn up on the night and put your name on the list.
