Hallertau Presents: Caitlin Lucy Smith with Paul Symons - live at Hallertau, Saturday, September 30, 1.30pm #SaturdaySuite
Caitlin Smith returns to grace the Hallertau Biergarten, Saturday, September 30 with special guest, longtime Smith collaborator and Kumeu-based Americana singer/songwriter Paul Symons on guitar and vocals. Song poet and story singer, Smith's solo performances are a full-frontal, head-on collision with your senses and heart.
Caitlin Smith's stage presence is as enormous as the Empire State Building, her voice as smooth as Baileys.
This jazz singer, it seems, can handle anything with the greatest of ease, from 'Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most' to Burt Bacharach's swingier 'What the World Needs Now' or the more introspective 'Trains and Boats and Planes'.
An icon of the New Zealand music industry, Caitlin has a strong reputation as a talented jazz singer and as a vocal coach for other professional singers. Joined by the Norwest's own Paul Symons on guitar and vocals, live this Saturday at Hallertau #SaturdaySuite
