Indie-Acoustic duo Broken Lexicon launch their debut album Springboard.
With support acts from two of Wellington's finest songwriters and musicians; Jhan Lindsay and Saali Marks, it promises to be a night of songs that resonate deeply, and stunning musical performances from all three acts.
Broken Lexicon engage intimately with their audiences, delivering a sound that is part Folk-Funk and part Gypsy Jazz, with a touch of acoustic rock. Russian born guitarist Alexey Medvedev weaves his highly percussive, contemporary finger picking style of guitar compositions around the sophisticated yet authentic lyrics and melodies of New Zealand Singer-Songwriter Brook Davies.
