Londons First Lady of Soul PP Arnold will be playing her debut New Zealand headline show this May at Aucklands Powerstation. Arnolds career spans over fifty years, she was a member of Ike & Tinas Ikettes, is the singer of canonical hit The First Cut Is The Deepest and collaborated with the likes of Primal Scream, KLF, the Small Faces, Paul Weller, Peter Gabriel and many more. The artist will be playing in support of her recently released collection of previously unreleased recordings from the sixties and seventies The Turning Tide, which featured contributions from Barry Gibb (of The Bee Gees) and Eric Clapton. Arnolds crack backing band will include Australian alt-rock group You Am I members Tim Rogers, Andy Kent and Russell Hopkinson, check out the details below...
