Multi award-winning composer with a hard-hitting New York sound
The 2016 and 2017 Jazz Composition of the Year winner Callum Allardice teams up with longtime collaborator Jake Baxendale to debut some fresh new music. They will be joined by local jazz mavericks Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa and Leonardo Coghini, as well as award-winning bassist Thomas Botting.
Callum is very excited at the prospect of writing for this group and will feature folk-inspired melodies layered upon complex harmony with a hard-hitting New York sound.
