Psychedelic groove-based free jazz with swing and sting
Daniel Beban (guitar), Anthony Donaldson (drums) and Tom Callwood (bass) have been performing together in different bands for well over a decade, establishing a home-grown approach to free jazz and improvised music.
Their latest offering, The Stinging Nettles, tackles the guitar trio format head on, with a sound coming equally from the worlds of psychedelic guitar fuzz, free improvisation and groove-based jazz.
