Spinning an eclectic selection of styles while deftly deflecting fleeting trends, Murry Sweetpants believes every time should be a good time, and he's the experience, the knowledge and the stamina-constitution to deliver. Imagine a cross between Dimitri From Paris at the Playboy Mansion, the infamous Lily Pad from the Big Day Out and a raving Horse Meat Disco gathering, all while hinting at the aspirational excess of having an expense account that’s the vibe brought when Sweetpants runs the sound.
Fulltime DJ, Dad and independent radio reprobate (bFM, George FM, Base FM, Radio Ponsonby), Murry ‘Sweetpants’ Pretscherer plays ‘round Auckland regularly, as well as throwing the odd party. Sweetpants hosted international DJ John Morales and has put on events above the Orams boat stack in Wynyard Quarter, on a yacht and an overnighter on one of the three-storey Hauraki Blue cruise boats.
