Auckland indie/rock/synth-pop band Young Lyre are set to release their third EP, following from their well-received Night Swimming and Weekend EPs. They return to Galatos Basement to play a special show before taking an extended break from live shows in NZ. The band will continue to write and release music in various locations around the world.
The setlist will feature all of the tracks from the new EP, which is due to be released during winter 2018.
Young Lyre are joined by alternative songwriting powerhouse Mountain Boy, known for creating impacting and melodic soundscapes. Off the heels of a year-long 52-song writing project, Mountain Boy has launched into recording/producing a fresh batch of tracks in 2018.
