Gig Information

So this is a lovely line up, Sandy Mill full band, The Bads full band and Steve Tofa full band! A full band show! Tickets from undertheradar.co.nz

Steve Tofa Band
With a voice that’s powerful and heaven-sent, Steve Tofa’s original songs are intimate and personal, a blend of folk, rock and soul. Steve performs with a band of close friends and musical whānau - guitarist Tom Irvine, drummer Earl Robertson and bassist Steven Shaw - all of whom have played together with Steve in various combinations over the years, including The Mercenaries and soul revue The Reputations. Steve is stepping out with new songs and a fistful of favourites, so expect to be charmed by the tallest tree in the room

The BADS
Brett Adams, Dianne Swann, Wayne Bell, Ben King and Dave Khan, have all been super busy with other tours and projects so are SUPER excited to play at this show at the one and only Wine Cellar, last year was a great year for the Bads with the release of their fourth album Losing Heroes which was warmly received and reviewed, and was short listed for the coveted TAITE Music prize - better see them while you can!

Sandy Mill + Band
Sandy Mill’s 2018 debut self-penned, solo EP ‘A Piece of Me’ reached NZ Top 20 charts with its blend of alt-rock, soul, blues.

She is a finalist in the 2018 Waiata Maori Music Awards for 'Best Female Solo Artist'. Its been a good year.

An internationally recognised vocalist, collaborator & songwriter, born in Gisborne of Ngati Porou descent, Sandy Mill has worked with The Basement Jaxx, Neil Finn, Pitch Black, Placebo and Flood. Sandy still performs with SJD, and fronts multinational band New Telepathics.

Sandy’s band features some of NZ’s finest musicians, some calling it a ‘super group’ with Dianne Swann, Ben King, Milan Borich and Jol Mulholland. Sandy and band recently supported legendary soul artist PP Arnold at Auckland's Powerstation.

Sandy Mill has a remix package due out soon on her label She’s Boss music, and is writing and recording new material. It's clear this ‘post-punk soul’ artist means business.
