Lindsey Shields is a Dunedin singer/songwriter, who writes well-crafted lyrics on topics as diverse as real estate, Harrison Ford and the Menopause. Lindsey has been a guest at the Australian National Folk festival in Canberra and the Vancouver Island Music Fest. She’s also featured at several New Zealand folk festivals. Lindsey has made two tours of New Zealand folk venues and has performed at house concerts and folk clubs in the UK. She is a member of Folkalyptica and plays with the Irish band Erin St. Previous stints include the a cappella group Rhonda and the Ravers, singing jazz standards with the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra, plus recording and touring with the Pioneer Pog ‘n’ Scroggin Bush Band.
Brenda Liddiard & Mark Laurent will open & close the show & possibly jam with Lindsey as well. The koha teapot will be in its usual place on the bar & your contributions for the musicians will be most welcome.
