Into Orbit are set to return to San Fran in January 2019 to mark the release of an upcoming new single, along with guests Clæmus & Planet Hunter.
After spending much of 2018 honing their set of new material, the duo are gearing up for a busy 2019, beginning with the release of a new track; a 6-minute epic entitled Shifter.
Fresh from supporting Belgian post-metal heavyweights Amenra for both New Zealand shows of their Australasian tour, Into Orbit intend to bring their immersive and intense instrumental show to San Fran at full volume, with a generous mixture of new and old material.
In a review of the Amenra show in Auckland, Ambient Light wrote of Into Orbit - “With just drums and guitar, Ian Moir and Paul Stewart create lavish, wide ranging instrumental post-metal journeys.” … “The music was impressively dynamic, moving organically from fast to slow, loud to quiet, build to crescendo.” … “A class act”.
