Gig Information

In support of their debut record ‘AV1’ Spawts are setting off on their very first headlining tour of New Zealand this September.

Playing Auckland on the 19th of September at Whammy Bar Spawts will be joined on the night by special guests TBA.

The 4 piece post-punk outfit will be showcasing their varied sound rooted in their own melodic sensibilities, while exploring the landscape of live performance through boundless sonic tangents & lively textured guitars.

Hitting all 4 centres of Aotearoa the finely crafted set heavily features tracks from their debut album ‘AV1’ including singles ‘Fairy Tales’ & ‘Heresy’ plus fan favourites ‘Brain Cells’ & ‘Cosmic Exit’.

Leading up to the release of their debut album AV1, Spawts have supported Australian surf rockers Hockey Dad and Nashville Sub Pop act Bully, while their songs ‘Big Fresh and ‘Piss In The Wind’ have garnered significant attention, with the former hitting over 100,000 plays on Spotify & the latter peaking at #3 on the 95bFM top 10.

You can keep up with Spawts on facebook.com/thebandspawts or listen on Spotify, Apple Music & Bandcamp.
