- MATIU TE HUKI
Matiu has a background in traditional Maori performing arts, theatre and fronting great reggae roots bands with his powerful connecting stage presence. He has performed with the likes of Fat Freddies drop, Rhombus, Pitch Black, Tiki Taane, Anika Moa and many more of New Zealand's top artists. He’s in high demand on the festival circuit all over the World

- SAM V with (EDY & Hiiata)
Singer-songwriter Sam V, hails from the 1010 in Auckland, and is one of New Zealand's most exciting and promising young talents. An outstanding & versatile R&B vocal talent from a young age, Sam's abilities had labels circling when he was only 12 years old - Sam went on to sign with DNK world music and worked with them until the age of 16, where he began to function as an independent artist.

Sam has worked with established NZ talent such as Vince Harder, Donell Lewis, Parris Goebel and D Love. Sam V not only has the creative chops and ambition to succeed - but also leads a like-minded creative collective called Young & $lept On (Y$O), which has featured the likes of Razé, Mikey Mayz, Rei, Krisy Erin, Juwan, bKIDD & Hiiata.
Sam V fronts Y$O with producer and creative collaborator, EDY, and together they’ve begun to quickly distinguish themselves from the pack, carving out 2 albums, 8 music videos & hosting 4 shows in Auckland City (showcasing over 20 local artists).

This has served to elevate their audience and standing in the industry, particularly on radio, streaming platforms and the NZ hot singles charts - where Sam V's projects regularly frequent the top 10. Armed with experience, versatility & determination, 2019 was hugely productive for Sam V & Y$O - setting a strong precedent to follow for 2020, however, with his knack for output and productivity. He will inevitably achieve many of his goals in 2020.

- BLUE RIVER BABY
Formed in 2016 Blue River Baby ‘BRB’ are a homegrown 8piece funk dub / psychedelic rock act flowing from the misty mountains of Wellington's hills and magical valleys, their name stands to remind us of a time when our rivers once ran clean and clear.

You’ll love the bands high energy, powerhouse grooves and slow burners with lead singer Ivy Padilla’s killer vocals. BRB bring with them horns from Southside of Bombay, a bold rhythm section and tasty yet deadly musicians who play with many of Wellingtons favourite bands. Destined for the big festival stages of NZ and beyond the majority of BRB are former or current students of Whitereia, NZSM and Massey music schools.

2019 was a standout year for BRB who played to 20,000 on NYE, then released a self-titled Debut album which hit #1 on the NZ Indie (IMNZ) Top 20 Album Chart and #8 on the Official NZ Music Album chart, gaining three weeks in both charts and received a bunch of radio play around NZ. BRB’s single Walk of Shame’ Hit #20 on the UK iTunes Blues Chart, and at home their singles ‘Blue River Baby’ reached #1 & ‘Blackyard Town’ hit #7 on the NZ iTunes charts.

- KING OYSTER
Mmm, just what you and I were craving - funk fusion selections and originals through a spin cycle of aggressive shreddy vibes. There is no crustacean more regal than King Oyster. The four conservatory-honed derelicts inhabiting the beast are:
Baron Oscar Laven – Wellington’s Sax royalty
Sam Nakamura Guitar – Sky Canvas
Blain Fitzpatrick Bass – Raw Collective
Jacob Randall Drums – Drumming legend
They are influenced by and include music from artists such as Jaco Pastorius, John Scofield, Bob James, T M Stevens, Primus, Billy Cobham, Chris Potter, George Benson and more
