The Ministry of Folk is the alternative acoustic music club - intimate performances in a beautiful old church hall halfway down Dominion Road in Mt Eden. With cabaret-style seating and BYO drinks, a splendid time is guaranteed for all. All proceeds to guest musicians.
In July, we are proud to feature Sam Loveridge: A young singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist who was one of the standouts at the recent Auckland Folk Festival. Sam's debut album Clarity is out now and we look forward to hearing an energetic set from Sam and his excellent band.
Also appearing is Foxtrots aka Zoe Scott. In her short 19 years Zoe has been awarded many national and international awards. Foxtrots captivates audiences with her powerful, yet effortless voice with an emotional vulnerability beyond her years. Not to be missed
