Gig Information

Bass Frontiers returns & teams up with MET4 to celebrate the release of Dynamix’s First Contact EP on the original techstep Drum and Bass don DJ Trace’s, DSCI4 label.

Enlisting the heavy-duty skills and selections of kiwi drum and bass pioneer Kiljoy, this will be a session of raw, no holds barred, underground drum and bass music. Kiljoy is a member of iconic drum and bass duo Concord Dawn who are world renowned and responsible for pioneering the sound in Aotearoa and across the globe. In recent years Kiljoy has focused on his own sound with releases on Function Recordings, in particular his massive 2019 remix of Digitals ‘Waterhouse Dub’. With more releases forthcoming you can be assured Kiljoy will roll out an uncompromising selection of upfront and classic dnb sounds.

Dynamix has been busy in the lab formulating his signature sound incorporating all the elements of drum and bass and moulding it in his own forward thinking style. His time has now come with firstly a release on Heist’s Co-Lab Recordings in 2018 and now a full 4 track EP called ‘First Contact’ on DJ Trace’s DSCI4 label.

The night also features special guest MC Imon Starr on hosting duties and DDog, Legoman and Unwell on support. Limited presales available now.

First Contact’ EP by Dynamix available digitally Monday 24th August
