Running from the 25th to 27th September 2020 from 4pm-7pm at 14b Florence Street, Newtown; a creative residential space.
Combining elements of light, projection, sound and sculpture ‘TRACE: From Then to Now’ explores themes of transition and growth in efforts to understand the individual experience through the stories of members of the Wellington community. The multimedia installation formulated by Wellington based artists Meg Fowden, Faye Knief, Wendy Neser, Lachlan Ferris, and Wara Simoes, functions as a conduit for connection with our former selves. This collaborative investigation into the human psyche offers a unique yet universal understanding of how your experiences as a child, shape who you become.
“Everyone has a childhood. The event will give you an avenue to explore and question your own identity through the stories of others, both as an individual and as part of the wider community.”
