The Audio Foundation presents an evening of outstanding original modern jazz by a the Lucien Johnson Quartet. Renowned saxophonist and composer Lucien Johnson is responsible for some of the most unique and compelling jazz produced in NZ over the last two decades. In addition to working with his own jazz groups his diverse output includes music for solo piano, large ensembles, collaborations with theatre and dance and most recently writing and producing the epic dance/theatre work 'Strasbourg 1518'.
Lucien is joined by the wonderful musicianship of internationally renowned pianist Jonathan Crayford, double bassist Tom Callwood (of the Phoenix Foundation) and multi-talented drummer Cory Champion (Borrowed CS).
