Wellingtons newest and dopest hip hop band, feeding you natural and organic tunes, and bringing you nothing but art on a musical canvas. With all members of the band currently studying music together, This humble young crew are building a musical project that has been absolutely smashing it. Whether you want to vibe out in a cruisy chill habitat or be transported to an environment of pure energy, this 5 piece band will have all bases covered. This collective is for us all to enjoy, so take a dive into the world of rap music in Aotearoa, Welcome to the gallery.

DR. REKNAW: is an eight piece psychedelic supergroup with roots in funk, soul, hip-hop and dub.
Beginning with two sisters as an acoustic duo, producing beautiful close knit harmonies, Dr. Reknaw has grown into an empowering groove-machine, sharing messages of connectedness to the whenua and to our fellow humans.
Based in Wellington, the Doctors can be found administering their musical medicine in bars, parks and festivals all around Aotearoa.
Following the release of their debut studio album 'Rektified' in March 2021, Dr. Reknaw has just completed an 8 show nation-wide tour, selling out venues far and wide.
RAW COLLECTIVE: is one of New Zealand's premier hip-hop bands, a multi-instrumental
extravaganza from Wellington. Through five years of recording, gigging and touring, they’ve
built a nationwide fan base. As festival favourites, they’ve played over 100 live shows,
including a five-show tour of Australia in 2019 with Sydney record label Fight Music'.
Led by MC/producer Raw Deazy, ten musicians collaborate to produce the band’s diverse
and multi-layered sound. Keys and strings. Horns and samples. Drums and song. It’s a
stomping wrap-up of hip-hop, funk, soul, jazz, blues, reggae and even some rock.
