Audio Foundation presents renowned pianist, composer, electronic artist and improvisor Michael Cain in duo with saxophonist Jeff Henderson.
Michael Cain was born April 2, 1966 in Los Angeles, California. His prolific career as a pianist, bandleader, composer and arranger has seen him collaborate with an extraordinary number of incredible artists including Billy Higgins, Dewey Redman, Jack DeJohnette, Marlena Shaw, James Newton, Greg Osby, Robin Eubanks, Lonnie Plaxico, Dave Holland, Bobby McFerrin, Me'Shell Ndege'Ocello, Carlos Ward, Ray Anderson, Charles Neville, Hassan Hakmoun, Oliver Lake, Reggie Workman, Mya, Kip Hanrahan, Noreaga, Cindy Blackman, Joshua Redman, Victor Baily, Bobby Previte, Frank Lacy, Bennie Maupin, Pheeroan Aklaff, Gary Thomas, Vernon Reid, Marty Ehrlich, Gene Jackson, James Genus, Marlena Shaw, Ralph Peterson, Steve Swallow, Andrew Cyrille, Steve Coleman, John Scofield, Jeff Watts, Stanley Turrentine, and Don Alias to name a few!
For this concert Michael will perform on electronics and piano and is joined by local saxophonist Jeff Henderson.
