It’s time to cut loose! 2020 is slowly coming to an end and it has now suddenly become December 2022. The Queen is out and the King is in the house. Winter is finally gone and gigs are back in town. The merciless scythe of history continues to swing.
To celebrate the release of their critically acclaimed, (almost) chart topping record ON AN UNHISTORIC NIGHT (out through Melted Ice Cream and Meritorio Records) Rangiora’s BEST BETS are finally hitting the road.
The band are bringing their classic power pop hooks and full action live show to you, in towns big and small. Te Waipounamu and Te-Ika-A-Māui are both covered, so there’s no excuse for not coming to witness the pendulum swing back to the raucous sweaty pop roots of garage rock. Best Bets will be hitting up historic hot spots such as the Barrytown Settler’s Hall and even performing side shows in-store at Flying Out and Daddy Long Legs records (both in Tāmaki Makaurau, both on the same day!).
Sharing the stage along the way are Papakura party pompers The Situations, Blenheim super studs Big Scout, Titirangi chaos merchants RATSO, and Ōtautahi’s mighty Hög. Every show will be a guaranteed winner.
Tickets are available from Under The Radar, records are available from Melted Ice Cream, the rest is up to you.
