Back with honey soaked vocals paired with a gang of percussive instrumentation, Valere makes her return with new single ‘Sober’, her first release under Enemy Love Records. In celebration, Valere and her friends will be playing two shows in Aotearoa - one of which is in Tāmaki Makaurau's MoveSpace on Thurs 10 Nov (support from Tavi and Geoff Ong).
Self-described as a “happy go lucky song about a not-so-happy go lucky thing”, 'Sober' juxtaposes Valere’s anxiety, fear of the future (and even lockjaw) with someone who is more at peace with the uncertainties of life, and releases everywhere on 21 October.
