In a dreamy collaboration, BASSMENT supported by Madcap, present a mini-tour with our friend JAEL.
We've handpicked the most active but underrated local bass music talent and give them a platform and spotlight to showcase their music. This night is all about the bass music community. We appreciate your support!

Giovanni Jano, better known as JAEL, is a 28 year old Moluccan recording artist, producer, DJ and vocalist from The Hague, The Netherlands. His passion for music began from a young age where he grew up in a household surrounded by Moluccan Folk songs, Moluccan Gospel, Soul/Funk & Japanese Funk. JAEL embraced these sounds together with a broad variety of inspiration and combined it into his own signature sound: from Soulful R&B to Heavy Bass Future Beats with his DJ sets but also in his productions and songwriting. He has been showcasing his skills as a DJ, instrumentalist, vocalist and producer in these different genres all over the world.
JAEL is also a member of the LA Based label and community Soulection and is represented by Studio KOTO, where his debut album “Half As Much” (2021) was released.
With an upcoming Boiler Room and shows happening all over the world, we cannot wait to share the experience with you all on 8th December at Club 121.

BASSMENT Beats Session is like an open mic/decks for the bedroom
producers. Basically, anyone can come in, we have a signup sheet to sign up
and play their beats in the big sound system. The whole crew will be there to
listen to your track.
BASSMENT Beats Session - RULES

1. Bring your beats. Any genres.
(Playing from your phone is recommended. Let's say no USB from now on
because they never really worked.)
2. Put your name on the signup sheet as soon as you come to the venue.
3. We are playing 60 seconds of your beat.
(Make sure itʼs cued up to where you want it to start)
Any genres are welcomed. We respect your craft. Different is better.
Get in early to avoid the queue!
