After 6 years of gigs around the motu, your friendly neighborhood indie-rock 4-piece Odds & Ends are pulling the plug.
The boys in the band have got multiple amazing musical projects on the run and this night will showcase Max's solo project Max Earnshaw Music, Jonathan and Josh's progressive rock 3-piece Underscore, and Koen's indie folk-rock 5-piece Marmalade.
The night will be full of exciting surprises, Odds & Ends' signature handmade merchandise, and boozy teapots. Get ready to dance to the latest favorites, and sing along to old-time Odds & Ends classics (no we won't play So Lost).
Odds & Ends:
Dutch-Kiwi indie-rock band Odds & Ends are like the perfect fruit salad; filled with juicy melodies, tasty songs, and sweet, sweet harmonies. Perfect for the summer, or any other season of the year.
The four hard-working musicians fuse together influences from alt-rock, indie-pop, and funk, making Odds & Ends truly unique. With countless local shows under their belt, including the renowned Kings Arms, Tuning Fork, and a sold-out headline show at Galatos, they never fail to deliver with their infectious on-stage energy.
Marmalade:
Tāmaki Makaurau-based five-piece Marmalade is a group of friends that write music in their living room. Swinging somewhere between folk-pop and indie-rock, Marmalade’s soaring duo vocals and honest lyricism float above a steady musical backbone to create a juicy jar full of sounds.
Despite being a fresh new band, they’ve already played support for a number of notable acts including Hot Potato Band (AUS), 10:32 (UK), and Beach Bunny (US). With their debut EP on the horizon Marmalade are bound to make your winter cosy, and summer even sunnier.
Max Earnshaw:
Max Earnshaw brings a unique blend of Pop/Rock, backed by an uber amount of stage presence and a killer band. Christchurch-born and now Auckland-based, Max absolutely smashes it with live performances across NZ. He’s released 5 singles with recognition on the NZ charts, rock radio, and media. He mashes tasteful rock riffs and driving rhythm with catchy and heartfelt lyrics.

Underscore is the latest alternative rock band to electrify Auckland's music scene. The trio creates a unique and explosive blend of rock and pop music, with funky rhythms and roaring guitars to produce their distinctive sound.
