After a long and locked down three years, MUNKHOUSE are finally making their way back to their hometown! This 6-piece psychedelic funk rock experience has been settled in windy Wellington since 2019, making their name as one of the city's most electrifying and captivating acts. Since the long-awaited announcement of new music, the band has decided to head their way up State Highway 1 to rip holes in your soles at their old turf: WHAMMY BAR. Their unique synth-driven sound combines the folk singer-songwriter sensibilities of former child star Clara van Wel with the pop production skills of former child Connor Scott. Together with Peter Wilkes and Ryder Smith, they promise to bring you the only live show more committed to getting you moving than the Ministry of Transport.
