The 95bFM return to the rave is long overdue. For too long we have been pushing our premiere DJ talent to the end of band-gigs, and ignoring our listeners’ calls for more breakbeats and donk. Well, no more! The institution that was OONST (last held in 2003) has been revived for the next generation of bFM ravers with a lineup that reflects the emerging dance music scenes across this city.

bFM’s got a long history of chucking a b in front of everything it does. When we were brainstorming a name for this gig (we promise no chatGPT was involved), b - Rave came out on top. Calling a rave ‘bRave’ makes this seem a bit like ‘90s bush doof in Golden Bay, and whilst we can’t promise no psytrance will be involved, we can promise it will be a hell of a party stacked with face-melting tunes.
