Fresh off their debut show in Wellington, Libbianski takes the stage at Wine Cellar in Auckland.
Libbianski are a four piece shoegaze outfit from Pōneke. It comprises current and ex members of Tuscoma, Opium Eater, Secrets of the Sun, Altar of Achlys and more.
Influenced by early 90s shoegaze as well as a variety of other musical genres, Libbianski combines ethereal vocals over a massive wall of sound guitars going from dream-pop ballads to noise rock intensity.
Joining them on the night are local fan favorite genre-bending emo's Jiahu Symbols, and midwestern emo kingpins Melanie.

Shoes off at the door please, introducing Melanie, the finest “Mid-West-Auckland Emo” band around these parts. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Joyce Manor, Remo Drive and Title Fight, Melanie released their debut album 42 Losers in late 2020, and their high-tempo, high-energy 4 song EP ABCD coming out at the end of January 2022. They like to jump around and have fun!
