Less Bliss

NNNC
NNNC awakens from years-long hibernation, eager to blast eardrums with the No Nonsense Noise Cannon. NNNC, the long-running project of artist and publisher Fergus Nm, pits waves of corrosive feedback in a duel against lo-tech samples, all while great harmonic flares threaten to overwhelm at any moment. Scavenging influence from the scraps of 90s harsh noise, classic NZ psych-drone, and the most decayed detritus of dub techno, NNNC sets are at once brutal and colourful, joyous and damaging.

Integument
Integument is a project based around no input mixing and hardware manipulation. A result of partners Matt and Sophie’s experimentation and musing, Integument routes gear back into itself, using feedback as a desired trait and finding freedom in the unpredictable nature of this process.

Less Bliss
Less Bliss (the solo project of Eli Larkindale) performs a selection of drone oriented works that glide in and out of both ethereal ambience and loud, distorted crescendos. Each is partly improvised but they follow an established form to establish a structure and continuity to the piece. The sounds are all made using electric guitar, lap steel guitar and a synthesizer processed through effects pedals, then looping and layering to create a continually expanding screen of sound and atmosphere.
