The Retro Pack Trio, Live at Five
Andrew London is well known to New Zealand audiences through his Hot Club Sandwich and Andrew London Trio performances, national tours, and numerous albums of original music and jazz standards. In addition to performing his hugely popular original songs, Andrew has collaborated with singer April Phillips on many jazz stage shows celebrating artists like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and the Gershwins at theatres and jazz festivals all over the country. Together they are the core of the jazz and swing band The Retro Pack which has featured many guest musicians and singers over the years. For the Live on Wednesdays sessions at Cabletop Eatery, April and Andrew are joined by Kirsten London as The Retro Pack trio and are excited to perform some of their favourite jazz and swing tunes above those incredible Wellington views.
The trio’s “lite” version of The Retro Pack promises a more intimate concert with classic tunes and delicious three part harmonies.
