This wāhine-led line-up of soul, jazz and rnb is sure to be one to remember.
Na'amah Cheiben has been an influential member of the Tāmaki-Makaurau jazz and songwriting community for some time now, as director of Wāhine in Jazz, and through various performances this year including the Silver Scroll Awards, and as a guest of the Exploding Rainbow Orchestra.
Psycho Gab is a fresh face on the Tāmaki-Makaurau scene, blending sounds of neo-soul, pop and jazz. Their debut single 'Messy' was released on all platforms this year, and they have been gigging around Auckland since, alongside acts such as Casual Healing and Elisa.
Spdrtwnbby (Nia Vavao) blends beautiful melodies of rnb and soul into a sound that is adored by many. She has played various gigs across Tāmaki-Makaurau this year, including opening for funk band Big Tasty, Aunty Rae, and more. Alongside solo music in the works, Spdrtwnbby released the single 'Birds & The Eagles' alongside rnb rising star Jarna, earlier this year.
