Gig Information

A night of top shelf acoustic roots, classic blues jazz and Celtic Soul with Ma Bell & The Connections.

Ma Bell is Scottish born contemporary folk blues jazz singer songwriter Isabella (Izzy) Miller Bell. The Connections features two of the South's top session musicians John Bevin on piano / vocals and Mike Kime upright bass. Tasman based songstress Debra Lee makes a special guest appearance adding her signature soulful sensitivity and sass.

Ma Bell dons the mantle of Madame Tragedie to tell her story of the blues, a story which began in 1949 in a council housing estate in the once Clydeside shipbuilding town of Greenock.

Coming from a large family and long line of singers and theatre folk Izzy Miller Bell is the real deal, an authentic folk blues artists and story teller who leaves no stone un-turned. More Info: www.millerbellmusic.com
