Everyone is welcome to join the commemoration of our national day with free live music and cultural performances. Come early to experience a pōwhiri, starting at 8am. Enjoy activities for tamariki including face painting, banner and poi making and much more! Visit The Village for kai, weaving workshops, craft stalls and kōrero. Learn about the significance of the treaty in Manukau and hear about the impact of the document as we commemorate 184 years since the first signing of te Tiriti o Waitangi in 1840.
Join us at Manukau Sports Bowl this Waitangi Day for a fantastic whānau-friendly day out!
Supported by Mai, Radio Waatea and Auckland City of Music.
Follow the Facebook event page for updates on stage performance times.
