A little about the artists:
One Eyed Jacks
One Eyed Jacks is a Western-themed Surf/Garage Rock band formed by bestest of buddies Liam Wahrlich & Adam Purcell out of our love for 60’s surf/garage rock. We enlisted the help of Sam Mccartin (Four Down) on vox as well as our good pals Deni Serkovic on Bass and Tom Spillane (former Lunar Intruder & The Raddlers drummer) on Drums.
SuperMild
SuperMild is 3 piece genre-spanning band based in Auckland. Once cited in a review as spanning Reggae, Dub, Roots, RnB, Funk, Psychedelic, Rock, and Jazz, SM is driven by a desire not to get stuck in one sound, and to bring banter, energy, a good time, and a great sound to as many stages as possible.
Castlegarden
Castlegarden are bringing something a little fresh and new. A little explosion to your live music experience. A course of high energy post-punk, sexy jams and prog rock trips. We blend Joy Division, Yes and Osees together, serve it in a cold glass and and pour it down your ears when you least expect it. Yummy audible milkshakes.
Buzz
Buzz is a four piece band from Auckland, they're sound is distinctive, raw and could be described as a blend of grunge and alternative rock. They've been playing at local venues around Auckland for about a year now and with their high energy live performance, have gained recognition in the Auckland music scene.
Pineja
Pineja is a four piece Reggae, Funk, Indie, Rock, band with influences from Dub, Ska and Jazz. Coming straight out of Cambridge, NZ, Pineja have been performing and recording together for 2 years and are known for their engaging live performances, stage presence and musicianship. With a nearly all original live set you are sure to be introduced to some wicked, dancey tunes. Pineja have supported acts such as Strangley Arousing, OdESSA, Albert Street, Beck Gaze, Borderline and soon Coast Arcade. They have also had sold out gigs headlining in their hometown venue Nivara Lounge.
