We've got a sweet little line up for all you looking for some fresh new music!
First up we've got Wellington's own Ingrid Saker of Ingrid and the Ministers! She'll be performing an original solo set. She combines amazing raw and deeply emotional bluesy singing with incredible guitar playing chops. Worth every cent of the $15 dollar entry on her own!
Headlining the evening is the Kingston High All Stars, the only desert blues band in Welly!
A band that's sure to hypnotize and get those heads nodding and bodies grooving. Inspired by West African guitar legend, Ali Farka Toure, and WOMAD favorites, Tinariwen and Mdou Moctar; the Kingston High All Stars play an original set of music that will feel familiar yet simultaneously exotic.
