For the first time ever, indie folk sensation Graeme James is bringing his show to the exceptional Volcano View at the foot of Mt Taranaki.
James is an internationally acclaimed modern folk artist rooted in the genre’s rich storytelling and musical traditions. His dynamic live shows are performed as a one-man band with the aid of a loop pedal to layer electric violin, guitar, banjo, bass, piano, baritone ukulele, mandolin, accordion, harmonica and percussion.
Graeme got his start as a street performer in Wellington, New Zealand before heading overseas where he continued to build a loyal fan base with his carefully crafted multi-instrumental soundscapes. He has recently moved back to New Zealand for a season after a four year stint touring Europe and North America. With over 50 million streams on Spotify and features in publications like Indieshuffle and Rolling Stone, his recorded music has journeyed ahead of him as he continues to travel the world and captivate new audiences.
Join him for an evening of song and stories in an enchanting location as the sun goes down.
Please note that tickets will be checked on the door at 7.30 pm.
A select menu of small plates will be available for your enjoyment throughout the concert, if you wish to book in for a meal prior please call Volcano View.
