Hold your horses Pōneke! Its time for... THE BIG ONE
Froth and Ghost Media are joining forces to bring you a multi-genre bass music extravaganza at The Grand, featuring three stages, two massive headliners and a handpicked support cast of some of the country's finest up-and-coming talent.
Our first headliner, all the way from Bristol, is certified bad boy BADGER. This absolute geezer has risen from bedroom sensation into a force to be reckoned with, serving a brightly coloured platter full of rave-ready mash ups, dutty basslines and ridiculous blends. Get those gunfingers ready - no sample is safe when this man is on the decks!

Our second headliner, hot off the heels of touring the globe, is Pacific superstar LADY SHAKA. Lady Shaka turned heads all over the place with her sensational FILTH Boiler Room episode, and since then has been making tidal waves with her global take on the club music genre. Her sets are legendary, with flawless vibe and selection, and we can't wait to host her for her first ever Wellington club show!

Joining them on our main stage we have a star-studded selection of champion selectors. Opening things up there's techno-bass double act KUJI, followed by Otautahi's very own EMILIE laying down a set of juicy wobblers. Following our headliners we have Aotearoa's garage don CARU laying down the law, and Froth boss KRAAYJOY closing things out.
Upstairs things are just as wild... opening up we have DUSTY and SHEBOY representing deep bass under their new alias FORWARD STANCE, followed by Green Room founder VUDU (aka AZ PURR) delivering a mixed bag. They will be joined by rising star VATI, Konkrete Jungle CEO and breakbeat champion ARMES, and festival favourite BIRKENTHOT to wrap the night up.
But wait... there's more! If you manage to make it past those two action packed stages we have a third stage dedicated to throbbing techno, held down by Froth alumni SCOTMIDD, sonic scientist CURRENT BIAS and fan favourite PORK CRACKLE. Very tasty!
All stages will be hosted intermittently by our host with the most, Mr YOUNG GHO$T, a duracell bunny of a man with a fetish for marathon sets who serves the vibes on a plate like a waiter. Keep an ear out and you may spot him.
To help make this night a classic, we are working with some of the city's finest VJs and soundsystems, including UNCLE GRAHAM, LIGHTSMITH, DOME DEPOT, E//T//V, KITTY, IZCORN and MR J.
We've also got boosted pressure courtesy of FURTHER SOUND and AUDIO AVENUE, making sure both levels are rumbling thunderously.
