In the lead-up to NZ Music Month, & the Ding Dong Lounge Band Competition we'll be hosting events for new and emerging artists to try out their set in front of a live audience. An initiative organised by SKR NZ, Stoned + Dead Witch.
To keep these awesome events running, feel free to make a small (or large!) donation. Your generosity will go towards general maintenance, gear upgrades, strings, skins and sticks.
In the spirit of Jam Night make sure to come on stage and join in the fun, participate, have a crack at your new riffs & rock on!
JAM NIGHT :
Every Thursday night we're hosting an 'open mic' style event for live music, with a full backline, PA system and sound engineer. The purpose of these is to encourage musicians to come together and jam once a week, try out new songs, network with other artists, form bands, or just hang out for the vibes! These events have been a pinnacle of creating space for new and emerging artists, solo musicians, and beginners to come together and kick out the jams! Hosted predominantly by Brad Ion, and notably Pancho Martin, Junior Grant - with our rotating sound engineers Kento Mori, Solomon Grant and David Provan.
