Rocket Berry Presents: Street Party!, a celebration of local bands in collaboration with Courtenay Precinct and Wellington City Council. Come along on May 25th to enjoy the magic of live music right in the heart of our beautiful city. Show your love for Te Whanganui-a-Tara talent by lending an ear, grooving up a storm, or tossing a few coins to our breathtaking buskers. Entry is free!
This performance will take place under the Tripod (on the corner of Courtenay Place and Cambridge Terrace) between 8 pm and 11 pm.
Hearth’s charming fusion of folk, rock, and jazz is a theatrical whirlwind of sugar, sass, and silliness. Since forming in 2021, the band has evolved from a trio to a five-piece. They have performed across the country at festivals such as Twisted Frequency, Welcome to Nowhere, and Great Sounds Great, as well as headlining shows in Pōneke.
Rocket Berry’s signature blend of compelling songwriting and groovy, hook-riddled indie-pop has had people grooving all around Wellington since 2022. Their live show is unique in the Wellington scene for its layered production, musical interludes, and synth-driven sound. If you’re a fan of smart, stylish alt-pop, Rocket Berry is one to watch.
Known for their catchy tunes, loveable seven-piece cast, and eclectic instrumentation, Day Moon’s unique garden rock sound and energetic live performances have been putting smiles on dials since 2023. Having spent the past six months establishing themselves in the Wellington live scene, Day Moon is now gearing up for the release of their first single.
