What's that noise? Its that bad Bad Taste! And we're playing at Moon, so lock in your place.
This Matariki YOUNG GHOST and ALPHABETHEAD are back in town, armed with a crate of fresh chops and a brand new single to dazzle your neurons. Over a red-hot summer, this dynamic duo scintillated crowds at some of the country's finest festivals, including Twisted Frequency, Camp A Low Hum and Welcome to Nowhere, and recently turned yet more heads when they opened for US hip hop legend ODDISEE at San Fran. Now they're ready for their first headline show of the year, and you can expect them to bring their signature brand of bombastic psychedelic hip-hop to the place, with rapid-fire lyricism and breakneck turntablism poised over a diverse sonic palette with a range of flavours.
Joining them on support we have local legend SO&SO, formerly of BigMacSlabs and The Gallery, delivering a showcase of his new solo material alongside DJ SKULLI. Expect flavours of soul, hip-hop and more! On opening duties we have CRUMBLY JACK, a tight unit who cut their teeth on Cuba Street seamlessly blending elements of funk, soul, jazz, hip-hop, rock and more into one tidy package of absolute vibes. Better have your dancing shoes out for this one!
To close things out and keep the party pumping we have Froth's very own THEON KRAAYJOY delivering the unique style of mayhem that he has cultivated over years of throwing some of the hottest parties in the capital. Between acts the vibe will be upheld by CATHEXXIS, showcasing a range of his homemade lo-fi house productions.
If that's not a lineup I don't know what is. What's more, early birds are only $10, and we're selling 50 of them! Go secure your spot now, and prepare yourself for a night of high quality music delivered straight from the heart.
