The AUM WINTER SERIES of events begins on Friday 6 June with a Kānuka Stage showcase in partnership with LO-FI Productions to bring a special night of quality house and techno.
International guest DJ Danny Howells (UK) will be playing alongside local talent Mia Kober, Ana Teles, Matt Drake and Red Project (aka Osey).

Danny Howells’ name is synonymous with multi-genre DJing which blends cutting edge house, techno, progressive, electro and more. Danny has a long association as a resident DJ on John Digweed’s Bedrock events and his eclectic compilation mixes for respected brands Global Underground, Renaissance, Balance and Resident Adviser are highly regarded.
Having been to New Zealand a number of times since first visiting in 2002 where he played to a capacity event at Civic Wintergarden, Danny is well known for his awesome sets.

The Kānuka Stage is a hidden nightclub in the forest at AUM New Year's Festival – a wild and beautiful world which is curated by the LO-FI Productions crew. From the lineup, décor and the overall vibe, the space is transformed into a sublime experience which is undoubtedly one of the best dance floors in New Zealand for underground house and techno over New Year’s.
