Ultraviolet Scrapheap is a slush punk band with a sound that oscillates between high energy bangers, and shoegaze grooves.
Yellow Rooms are Pōneke based sister duo Sarah and Grace Lawrence. The sisters swap between the violin, guitar, keys and vocals on songs that are both soulful and witty. Look out for their new release ‘Cool’ in the coming months!
Kaletta is a Latin rock band that blends ska, punk, and Latin rock. With musicians hailing from Chile, Italy, Colombia, New Zealand, the UK, and Argentina, they combine classical and modern instruments. Kaletta's lyrics are in Spanish, focusing on social themes. They love getting the crowd dancing and having fun with with the band, even when singing about heavy topics. Kaletta believes that life is too short not to party and dance – and that's what they bring to the stage!
Bottom Bunk Club is a delightfully edgy folk-punk band. They bring the ethos and punchy attitude of 90s/00s punk music, and blend it with instruments traditionally associated with folk and bluegrass. After releasing their first EP in late 2024, Bottom Bunk Club is currently working on a new album with songs that explore the full range of important topics: shoplifting, excessive use of the snooze button, trickle-down economics, and covertly flirting with co-workers. A warning to future fans of Bottom Bunk Club: you can kill the bedbugs but there is no cure for a catchy chorus.
