Expect the unexpected from Wellington-based Agatha Pantha - a folk/rock four-piece whose sounds range from bouncing rhythms to dark, tangled ballads to anthemic rock numbers. Fronted by singer and ukelele player Mo Blishen, and filled out with Kent Hogan on guitar, Nik Straughier on bass and Sam King on drums, Agatha Pantha is the product of four unlikely allies joined by musical fortitude and lived experience, here to provide a therapeutic soundtrack to the every day.
Joining them are fellow Wellington Band BDSN, fronted by Nigel Parry. Satirical songs with a hard edge and soft centre, a bit like a box of chocolates. Joined by Scott Pilgrim, Darrel Greaney and Ben McHardy.
